SENSORY TOOLKITS
Each Child Learns Differently
The DLTK's sensory toolkits are carefully curated based on nearly 30 years of professional and personal experience in childhood through adult education.
We have identified four key areas where disruptions in the learning process can occur, preventing students from staying on task and retaining information when distance learning or homeschooling:
-
Sensory integration
-
Fine motor skills
-
Self-regulation: Calming
-
Self-regulation: Stimulation and Activation

Our toolkits contain sensory tools that directly support these areas and can:

-
Encourage students to learn in a way that is natural and comfortable for them;
-
Help students regulate their energy;
-
Enhance students' focus and manual dexterity; and
-
Provide students with necessary learning breaks while keeping them engaged.

I wish I had known about these sensory learning tools sooner. They have helped my son stay on task when distance learning! I've even used them myself!
